mr. simple: Museum Heist

dead-bird:

Sparrow dodged a panicked gentleman that nearly ran straight into him and a hysterical flailing woman in a blue gown. The security guards that were posted at their station were no help at all with crowd control and he began to wondered why they were hired in the first place. As he…

Mesmerized by the brilliant ivory wings that extended from Dalsoon’s back, Sparrow couldn’t help but to just gape them for a few minutes. He couldn’t believe that a snooty rich boy like him could be a mutant like him. He bit his lip and nodded, trusting that Dalsoon can defend himself enough until this ordeal was over.

“Please stay close,” Sparrow said, genuinely concerned about his safety as he lead him through the room.

Whomever the assassin was aiming for was gone by the time they reached the scene of the crime. There was no blood or any damage for that matter, just a crumpled up bullet on the floor. He had no doubt that there were more mutants that were here and it wouldn’t surprise him if they were all from Magneto’s League of Misunderstood Bad Guys. Whatever valuable treasure that his father had obtained for this macabre exhibition must not be all that important, since the centerpiece was left untouched through all the commotion. So what was is it that they wanted if not the treasure?, Sparrow thought as he looked around the almost vacant room. Bitting his bottom lip once more, he made his way over to the centerpiece. Using his power he put up a barrier with the scattered paper on the floor around the mystery item for protection just incase, before heading towards the exit of the exhibition hall.
